East Carolina Rail provides railroad related services to customers operating in the southeast.  We provide these services with a focus on maximizing efficiency and cost effectiveness, so that our customers can focus on their core businesses.  We are conveniently located in Rains, SC, along the I-95 corridor, on CSX.

 

     Our staff has over 60 years combined experience in the rail car repair industry.  This enables us to not only perform standard maintenance functions, but also expand into wreck repairs, project work and engineered solutions for our customers' fleets.  We also have some of the industries top turn times and a yard that can accommodate over 200 cars.  East Carolina Rail is an AAR, M-1003 Certified Freight Car Repair Shop (SRIM).  We utilize an electronic billing program that streamlines the entry, quotation, approval and invoicing process.
